Day 1: Chennai to Haridwar / Dehradun
The pilgrimage begins with pilgrims traveling from Chennai to Haridwar or Dehradun by flight or train. Upon arrival, the group is received and transferred to the hotel via Tempo Traveller.
In the evening, pilgrims visit Har Ki Pauri, the most sacred ghat of Haridwar, to witness the Ganga Aarti. The sight of hundreds of lamps floating on the holy river, accompanied by the chanting of Vedic hymns, creates a deeply spiritual atmosphere and marks an auspicious start to the yatra. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot

Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

After darshan, pilgrims return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi / Sitapur
Today, the journey continues to Guptkashi or Sitapur, the base for visiting Kedarnath. The route follows the Mandakini River, offering breathtaking views of valleys, forests, and waterfalls.
On arrival, pilgrims check into the hotel and rest, preparing for the Kedarnath trek the following day.
Day 7: Guptkashi – Kedarnath
Early morning, pilgrims drive to Gaurikund, the starting point of the 18 km trek to Kedarnath Temple. Ponies, palkis, and helicopter services are available for those requiring assistance.
Kedarnath, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is located at an altitude of 3,583 meters. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, the ancient stone temple radiates immense spiritual energy and serenity.

Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi
